Emily Blunt wanted for Gnomeo and Juliet sequel
Emily Blunt has been asked to return to 'Gnomeo & Juliet' in new sequel 'Gnomeo & Juliet: Sherlock Gnomes'.
The 'Devil Wears Prada' star - who voiced Juliet in the first film in 2011, alongside James McAvoy [Gnomeo] - is wanted for a part in the 3D computer-animated romantic comedy film based on William Shakespeare's play 'Romeo and Juliet'.
The Daily Mail newspaper has reported that Emily, 32, has a tight schedule and she is currently in the UK working on the set of 'The Huntsman', which she stars alongside 'Mad Max: Fury Road' actress Charlize Theron, 'Interstellar' star Jessica Chastain and 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' actor Chris Hemsworth.
According to the report, the family film is about ''the characters from the first movie enlisting the help of a famous gnome-detective in solving the sinister disappearance of gnomes from the suburban gardens of England''.
Meanwhile, 'Atonement' actor McAvoy has also been offered a role, but he too has two major movies coming up, 'Victor Frankenstein' and 'X-Men: Apocalypse'.
Both actors are yet to be confirmed as the movie's producers have not finalised plans.
